About Me

My photo
cjohns
Like many people who have had to learn to cut back on spending, I've come to to a place where I value the things I already have and to use things until they are worn out. These difficult times have have taught me the value of mindful spending and the ingenuity of taking the things I have in my home and repurposing them. I love to scour local Goodwills, Salvation Armys, flea markets, and garage sales to find things that can be upcycled into new useful ways for my home. It's the thrill of not knowing what I might find that keeps me coming back. This inspired me to begin researching all the different things that can be recycled and I was amazed at all of the resources I wasn't even aware of. My hope is that you take an idea or two from my blog and are able to use it in your life to give something you already have or find a second chance to be useful to you too.
